A VOICE FOR THE PARENTS
Daphne Jackson, I am an Arlington resident, a wife, a grandmother and most importantly I am a PARENT. I believe that school board members should do everything possible to enact what the Parent's want for their children in the most professional and fiscally sound way possible. YES, our children are important and YES our teachers are important and YES our administrators are important and YES our school board is important.
PARENTS must play a MAJOR role in the decision making process. The school board trustees must consider the PARENT"S decision and serve as the vehicle and the final decision maker.
As a school board member this will be my number one criteria.
